Your Graphite Box OEM
We design and produce a huge range of graphite boxes and containers used in all sorts of precision casting, melting, refining, and analysis processes. We’re proud to supply industries spanning from automotive to metallurgy, chemical processing, and more.
Designed for easy maneuverability in high-temperature environments and during operations where materials need to be moved frequently. The handles offer better portability and safety.
To securely contain hazardous materials during processing or transportation, the lids can be locked down, preventing spills and contamination.
Our square graphite boxes ensure even heat distribution in kilns and furnaces. Their uniform shape makes them a common choice for instances like ceramics production.
For boxes that need to tolerate intense heat and pressure, we use high-density graphite. This results in enhanced mechanical strength and durability.
High-Temperature Carbonization
EastCarbon graphite boxes are an essential part of the lithium-ion battery manufacturing process, used in the high-temperature carbonization of negative electrode materials. They offer excellent strength, heat resistance, and thermal conductivity. Also, they don’t produce the pollutants that traditional iron or steel containers would.
Lithium Iron Phosphate Sintering
Our graphite boxes are used in the sintering of cathode material lithium iron phosphate which improves battery performance. The boxes’ stability at extreme temperatures, chemical inertness, and ability to evenly distribute thermal energy make them a reliable choice for this process.
Used to hold metal parts during annealing and sintering, protecting them from contamination and helping to maintain their shape.
Our boxes hold and transport materials that undergo high-temperature reactions involving corrosive substances like chlorine compounds or sulfuric acid.
Used in the production of integrated circuits and microchips to hold silicon wafers in place while ensuring they’re evenly heated.
Used in foundries and steel mills during processes like aluminum and steel casting. These boxes hold molten metal and ensure it cools uniformly.
During sintering, our graphite boxes can be used to hold metal powders while they’re compacted into solid parts under high heat. Examples include automotive gears or turbine blades.
Designed with multiple compartments to process different materials without cross-contamination in the same furnace. This could be during for advanced research purposes.
Maintain uniform heat distribution and prevent thermal stress that may cause cracking during ceramic parts firing. Commonly used to produce tiles, bricks, and components for the construction or electronics industry
Can be used to encapsulate nuclear fuel pellets while they undergo treatment and sintering before being assembled into fuel rods.

Designed For Demanding Applications
Our graphite boxes are engineered to be resistant to thermal radiation and can withstand neutron bombardment. This makes them uniquely ideal for nuclear and similarly demanding applications where other materials would fail.

The EastCarbon Graphite Box Production Process
The process begins by selecting the raw graphite or composite material and using mold or machining techniques to achieve the required design. Slots, holes, or chambers can be added via precise CNC machining depending on your needs. After shaping, the boxes are then sintered. They may also be coated with silicon carbide (SiC) or titanium carbide (TiC) for better performance under high thermal cycling.

Frequent Asked Questions
You can specify the box lid design in your drawings. Common types of lids and closures for graphite boxes include lockable lids, sealing lids, slide-on lids, and snap-on lids. A spring cover is another option. It depends on how frequently the graphite boxes need to be opened, and whether they require an airtight seal to prevent oxidation in which case they may be fitted with gaskets.
Thanks to their high durability and inert properties, EastCarbon graphite boxes require minimal maintenance. We advise you to carry out regular inspections for signs of wear like cracking and oxidation in line with safety protocols and in order to meet regulatory standards.
Yes, our modern facilities use advanced technology and the machinery at the cutting edge of its field. We can manufacture complex graphite box shapes and designs that suit any industrial application, no matter how hostile or extreme the intended environment.
Yes, due to their high thermal resistance and chemical interness, EastCarbon graphite boxes can touch molten metals like copper, steel, aluminum, and silver without reacting or degrading. To make sure your boxes perform as required under extreme conditions, it’s important to select the right type of graphite.
Our graphite boxes are capable of withstanding significant mechanical stress. This is particularly true for the boxes we produce from high-density graphite. The thickness and design of the box also contribute to its load-bearing capacity. We recommend consulting with our engineers to determine the optimal thickness for your application.
